Business That Cares

It is hard to believe that a little over a year ago when a friend of mine sent me a link to the web site of a small restaurant procedure in SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA, Mission Street Foods. Mission Street Foods started as a food truck and expanded into an operating restaurant twice a week, challenging proceeds donated towards a designated charity.

This happenstance motivated me to produce Business That Cares and write my first blog post. In addition, this past year, I finished the program and received my certificate in Positive Business and Society Change through Case Western University’s Weatherhead School of Management. Part of the planned program requirements were to send three tales to the guts for BAWB, Business Agent of World Benefit, for their World Inquiry project, that is also submitted on your blog: Replyforall, Better World Books, and GoodCapital. And looking ahead, it seems clear that taking a look at business philanthropy from an Organizational Behavior and Organizational Development perspective, can help businesses understand how it pertains to the entire working of the business. That is to be commended. And today, it’s time to begin, which makes it really effective.
